Project showing the error "There is not enough memory to complete the operation."
Solution when Microsoft Project says the below error when opening it.
Go to programs – Select Project – Select change – Select Repair online
If the below image pops up click Install 64-bit
When signing into Project use the PRODUCT KEY NOT the college login.
How to get the product key
NOTE: MICROSOFT PROJECT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM, THERE IS NO APPLE MAC VERSION.
1. Go to: https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools
2. Click the blue Sign in button, and sign in with your college student/Staff Email Information
3. You will be taken to a screen that says your academic status has been verified. Click the blue button to continue.
4. Click the Software in the Quick Start menu
5. In the search bar, type 'Project' to locate the available versions of MS Project. From the search results, select Project Professional.
This will open a pane on the right-hand side of the screen. Please note that it may take 30 seconds or so for the pane to appear.
6. On the right hand side click View Key. This will display your product key for MS Project. Save this in a safe place.
8. Copy the Product key
9. In project select to use a license and enter the above product key into the box provided.
10. Select Activate Office
Project should now activate and be ready for use.
